The End
It will be difficult to pick out just a few learning tools that we have been introduced to that are my favorites. However, I am still using the RSS feeds everyday to check on some of my favorite news sites, as well as a couple of quilting sites that update pretty often. I think bookmarking through Del.icio.us will also be something I will use because I will be able to access my favorite sites from any location. For Web 2.0, I found a site called Librarything where I can keep track of books I have read, rate them, and make brief comments about the content of the book or my thoughts about the material. As church treasurer, I am planning on moving a few of my excel and word documents into GoogleDocs so that I can share them with other staff members. I think this will be a very useful tool. Finally, I am going to have so much fun with YouTube!!!!What more can I say? Thanks again, Judy!

YouTube videos
I have seen a few YouTube videos, but I guess I didn't realize how many there were and how many categories you could find them in. I admit I had to have Judy help me embed the first video into my blog-the instructions I pulled off the web were misleading! Besides being so much fun, I can see how videos could be very useful educational and instructional tools! I can also see that this could become very addictive! Wow!

Special Dates to Remember
I made a spreadsheet of family birthdates and anniversaries just for fun. This is a tool I can use as treasurer of my church. I could post spreadsheets for the different committees so they could have easy access to their expenditures. Right now everything is on my computer at home. Since I live out in the country, it is not always convenient to access the information when someone needs it right away. By using Google Docs, I could access those spreadsheets from here at work or on the church computer, or even set it up so that other church administrators could access the forms. Pretty exciting stuff!
Letter to Judy

Dear Judy
Thank you so much for inviting me to participate in the Butler Learning 2.0 program. I know I have a great deal more to learn about the tools that we have already looked at and experimented with, but I have had a wonderful time playing with them. I continue to be amazed each week at all the new tools at our disposal!
Many of the tools we have looked at will be useful for me, and so I plan to continue to learn as much as I can about them. I am so fortunate to have you so readily available to answer all my silly questions. Thanks again!

Web 2.0 Awards
I clicked on Web 2.0 Awards and then selected books as my topic. I then scrolled down to LibraryThing at the following link:http://www.librarything.com/profile/sdunbar This is a site where I can catalog books I am currently reading or have read in the past. I can rate the books and make comments about them. I have just begun to explore the site and opened an account and have added a few books, comments and ratings. This will be a great tool for finding other books related to the topics of books I have already read. I think the possibilities are endless! Just another fun adventure! Thanks, Judy!
Create Your Own Search Engine
I created my search engine to find websites that offer free quilt patterns that I can download. If you click on this link you can see it on my igoogle page: www.google.com/ig?ource=gama&hl=en
This next link goes directly to my search engine page: http://www.google.com/cse?cx=005992781524480159950%3Apseoklkjizy&q=&sa=Search Type in "free quilt patterns" in the search box on either page and you will have a list of sites that offer free quilt patterns that can be downloaded! Now if I could just find the time to quilt!

Wetpaint
Wetpaint is a website where you can set up a wiki. It does look like it would be pretty easy and a lot of fun. I think I would like to try it sometime!
Wiki
I am a part of a couple of wiki groups and they are a lot of fun. I can see that they could be very useful as library tools. The real draw for wikis is indeed the collaboration factor.
Technorati
I have explored Technorati, and I think this is a tool for keeping track of blogsites by using "discover", "favorite", and "popular". I am pretty sure I don't get the full impact of this site! All help much appreciated!
Tagging & Del.icio.us
I think the primary advantage of bookmarking through del.icio.us would be the ability to find favorite websites from anywhere. For example at work or at home! I bookmarked a couple of sites in del.icio.us which I tagged "campaign_2008". You can see them in the following link: http://del.icio.us/skdunbar I also observed a tag cloud which was kind of interesting-showing all the tags alphabetically and by size which determines the popularity of the tag.
